Washington State vs. Arizona

Arizona Wildcats head coach Rich Rodriguez calls in a play during the second quarter of the University of Arizona vs. Washington State college football game at Arizona Stadium, Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, in Tucson, Ariz. Mike Christy / Arizona Daily Star

1. The money

The price of poker continues to go up in college football, and it figures that Rodriguez could receive both a better contract and a better opportunity to win by returning to the UA for another year or two. Coaching turnover is at an all-time high, meaning that jobs like South Carolina’s should pop up in droves next year. Rodriguez has shown he likes to bet on himself — remember when he turned down Alabama? — and could see better things on the horizon.
