Garcia joins Starr Pass resort
JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa announced that Sam Garcia has been named director of event planning. Garcia began his hospitality career in 1975 with Marriott at Los Angeles Airport; went on to Marriott Hotel Anaheim, where he was named Convention Services Manager of the Year; and spent 15 years in leadership roles at JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa.
