Franson to chair C-Path board
Dr. Timothy R. Franson has been named chair of the Critical Path Institute (C-Path) Board of Directors. He replaces Dr. Peter B. Corr, who will continue to serve as senior advisor to the board.
Franson brings extensive clinical and regulatory expertise in pre- and post-approval phases of pharmaceutical development. He is the chief medical officer at YourEncore, and previously was a principal at FaegreBD Consulting and vice president of global regulatory affairs and patient safety for Eli Lilly and Co.
He is the immediate past president of the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention and has served on the National Institutes of Health/National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences Treatment of Rare Diseases review panel.
Franson earned his bachelorβs degree in pharmacy from Drake University and his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
