Tucson 'J' announces a new employee
The Tucson Jewish Community Center, also known as The J, announces a hiring: Eva Karene Romero, grant writer.
Romero’s book, “Film and Democracy in Paraguay,” will be published by Palgrave Macmillan this year and she will co-direct a documentary film on women and women’s rights in South America. She received her PhD from the University of Arizona, where she taught Hispanic cultural studies and language classes. She is a board member of the Tucson Pima Arts Council.
