Two years after introducing itself to Tucson, The Screamery Handcrafted Ice Cream shop opened its second location three weeks ago and is planning a third, to be located downtown.
The downtown shop, at 250 E. Congress St., could be open by mid-May, said owner Kenny Sarnoski.
Kenny and Linda Sarnoski opened their first Screamery shop at 50 S. Houghton Road in summer 2014. They opened the second one at 2545 E. Speedway three weeks ago.
The Houghton Road shop is open from noon to 9 p.m. Sundays to Thursdays, and from noon to 10 p.m Fridays and Saturdays. The Speedway location is open from noon to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from noon to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
