Tucson will hold its annual St. Patrick's Day parade and festival, now in its 30th year, at Armory Park, 220 S. Fifth Ave., and through points downtown.
This is a family-friendly event. Leave the Guinness at home. But feel free to wear green lest ye be mercilessly pinched by your fellow revelers.

St. Patrick's Day wouldn't be St. Patrick's Day without a performance from Nancy McCallion of The Mollys.
This year McCallion will be teaming up with violinist Heather Hardy, Gary Mackender and Steve Grams at Monterey Court.
The outdoor venue will be serving corned beef and cabbage. Guinness and Harp will be on tap, according to the Facebook event page.
The evening begins at 7 p.m.

Catalina Brewing Company, 6918 N. Camino Martin off of Ina, will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day while testing your knowledge of the long-time holiday.
Play four rounds for a chance to win $1 beers. A $20 gift card to the brewery will go to the winning team.
Big Bad Wolf will provide the corned beef. The game runs from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

If you like drinking green beer with the chance of watching two dudes knock the crap out of each other, you can probably find that at any bar in town on St. Patrick's Day.
If you want to see them scuffle on ice, then head to the Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave., for the Tucson Roadrunners' St. Patrick's Day festivities.
Green beer will be on tap as the Roadrunners face off against the Bakersfield Condors at 7 p.m.

The Shanty is over the hill and back again this week and will celebrate its 80th birthday on St. Patrick's Day.

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Casa Film Bar, 2905 E. Speedway, will be screening "Leprechaun," a cinematic classic starring a young Jennifer Aniston, and Warwick Davis as a demonic leprechaun looking for his pot of gold.
The Curry Pot (of gold?) will be providing the eats.

Tucson's Arizona Beer House is going all out this year with an event that will help support the Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games.
Performances from Scatter the Dust, the Tucson & District Pipe Band and the Maguire Academy of Irish Dance will entertain the masses.
Food will be provided by the American Flying Buffalo and Gigi's Fusion food trucks.
The celebration will be held both inside and outside of the venue from noon to midnight.

1912 employees, from the beertenders to the brewers, will be participating in a corned beef and cabbage-making competition where patrons on St. Partrick's Day will be the judges.

The club is on a nationwide tour. Will a stop in Tucson mean an a cappella version of the Notre Dame fight song? Only time will tell.
