Dick Vermeil coached at UCLA in 1974 and 1975 before moving to he NFL, where he coached the Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs. One of Vermeil’s seasons in Philadelphia was chronicled in the movie β€œInvincible,” starring Mark Wahlberg.

Vermeil was back at UCLA on Saturday night β€” sort of.

Actor Greg Kinnear, who portrayed Vermeil in the movie, watched the game alongside UA athletic director Greg Byrne. The Oscar-nominated actor is an Arizona graduate.Β
