You won't find anything like tonight's All Souls Procession anywhere. It is distinctly Tucson.Β

Tucson’s All Souls Procession is pilgrimage of face-painted skeletons, costumed walkers, personalized altars, floats and giant puppets before its signature pyrotechnical, acrobatic, music-filled finale, the Star reports today.Β

A variation of DΓa de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, Nov. 1 and 2, when families and friends refurbish gravesites and honor deceased loved ones, Tucson’s All Souls Procession is a celebration of those who have passed..

Gather at 6 p.m. and the procession begins at East Sixth Street and North Sixth Avenue and ends at the Mercado San Agustin, west of Interstate 10.

At the right, you'll find several Star articles and videos about tonight's procession and how to get ready for the big event.Β

Get your skeleton face on, and make the pilgrimage to honor your deceased loved ones.
