โ€œThey don't have the same low-post presence that Josh Scott gave them but they now have a bunch of versatile guys around the same size who can create mismatches. Itโ€™s not (Wesley) Gordonโ€™s forte to score in the low post but heโ€™s averaging almost three offensive rebounds a game and thatโ€™s where he really hurt us last year. And theyโ€™re different. Josh Fortune, George King, Xavier Johnson โ€” theyโ€™re all in that 6-5, 6-6, 7-6 range with ability to score over you with a three or drive it. Thatโ€™s what makes them so unique on offense. They have versatility, good length, good range and good overall size and good quickness. Derrick White is as good as anyone in the league. He leads in assists by large margin, heโ€™s second in blocks, second in scoring, heโ€™s money from the free-throw line. Heโ€™s won games for them all by himself.โ€ โ€” UA assistant coach Mark Phelps, who scouted the Buffaloes.ย
