From the Where Are They Now file:Β Chad Carvin, the Pac-10βs 1997 menβs Swimmer of the Year, and a 12-time Arizona All-American and 2000 Sidney Olympics silver medalist, is still a competitive open water swimmer in Los Angeles. He is in his ninth year as part of the Los Angeles County lifeguard services staff.
