This was the second fatal helicopter crash in less than a year in Pima County. Three people aboard a medical-evacuation helicopter were killed when the aircraft crashed yards from a north-side home in July 28.
Pilot Alex Kelley, 61, paramedic Brenda French, 28, and flight nurse Parker Summons, 41, died in the crash of the LifeNet helicopter. The cause of the crash has not been determined, according to online records from the National Transportation Safety Board.
