CDO grad Martinez likely to start for Stanford

Former Canyon del Oro, Santa Rita and Mountain View linebacker Blake Martinez is likely to start at inside linebacker for Stanford against UC Davis on Saturday. But he faces significant day-to-day competition to keep that job from three players: Noor Davis, Joe Hemschoot and Kevin Palma. They are attempting to replace all-conference LB Shayne Skov, who was the face of Stanford’s defense the last two seasons.
