How time flies: Phil Mickelson played in the BMW Championship at Denver’s Cherry Hills Country Club before withdrawing Saturday. It was his first time playing that course since the 1990 U.S. Amateur finals, when he beat Arizona sophomore Manny Zerman for the title. Zerman, who also lost in the Amateur final in 1991, is now a teaching pro at Miami Shores Country Club in Florida. He last played on the Web.com Tour in 2000.
