Former UA NCAA champion Ross training in Tucson
Another former UA NCAA high jump champion, Nick Ross, remains in Tucson, training with Blockburger. Ross was probably the top all-around athlete on campus in 2013 and 2014, but it doesn’t translate financially the way it does for basketball and football players. Ross is working at Desert Diamond Casino, hoping to land a larger endorsement contract after this summer’s U.S. finals.
