Three-time Tucson Open champ Phil Mickelson has opted out of two of his regular PGA Tour West Coast swing events, the Northern Trust Open in Los Angeles and the AT&T Pebble Beach Open. Why? “My kids are on vacation,” he said. At least Mickelson is consistent; that was his reason for not playing in the final two Match Play events at Dove Mountain.
