Celebrate Coronado National Forest at free "It's All Yours" family day

The city of Tucson, Pima County and the National Forest Foundation will host the free “It’s All Yours” family day on Saturday, March 10, at Kennedy Park, 3700 S. Mission Road.

The event, which celebrates the Coronado National Forest, will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to the public.

There will be guided nature walks, hands-on activities for children, live music, food and a ceremony with a welcome from Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild.

A free shuttle will be available to take people to the event from Sunnyside High School, 1725 E. Bilby Road.

The event will also launch the Southern Arizona Forest Fund, which will support national forests in Southeastern Arizona through fundraising and awareness programs.
