The economic impact of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base rose slightly in fiscal 2014, according to the most recent study issued by D-M on Monday.

The impact of D-M to Tucson and the surrounding community totaled just under $974 million in fiscal 2014, up from $973 million in 2013.

Pay collected by local military retirees totaled $513.5 million in fiscal 2014, up from $504 million in 2013, the base said in its annual economic impact analysis. To view the report, go to tinyurl.com/pa3d38x
