The 70-unit San Simeon apartment complex was bought by MCFT Holdings LLC of San Diego-based McMillin Homes. The property was acquired as a long-term investment, and general upgrades are planned.

The San Simeon apartment complex, at 6091 E. Golf Links Road, has sold for $3.7 million.

The sale of the 70-unit complex was negotiated by Bill Hahn, Jeff Sherman and Trevor Koskovich of Colliers International in Phoenix on behalf of the seller, Corey Peterson of Gilbert. The buyer was MCFT Holdings LLC of San Diego-based McMillin Homes.

The property was acquired as a long-term investment, and general property upgrades are planned.

San Simeon was built in 1963, and underwent a major renovation in 2013. The 70-unit asset consists of 57,865 square feet in five two-story buildings on approximately 1.33 acres.

There are 10 one-bedroom, 57 two-bedroom and three three-bedroom apartments, ranging from 615 square feet to 985 square feet. Occupancy at time of sale was 96 percent.

  • Hilliard Creations LLC leased 33,797 square feet of industrial space at 700-702 E. Fair St., from Atlantic National Finance Company LLC. Ron Zimmerman, with Picor, represented the landlord.
  • R & G Food Services Inc. leased 7,383 square feet in the Coach Drive Industrial Building, 4560 S. Coach Drive, from Coach Holdings LLC. Rob Glaser, with Picor, handled the transaction.
  • Nicolosi Moving and Storage Inc. leased 6,600 square feet at 3765 E. 43rd Place, from JDLH Investments LLC. Russell W. Hall, with Picor, represented the landlord.
  • Roadside Mattress LLC leased 5,000 square feet at 3251 S. Dodge Blvd., from El Gato Investment Two LLC. Pat Welchert and Paul Hooker, with Picor, handled this transaction.
  • Freeway Insurance Services of Arizona Inc. leased 1,220 square feet at 444 W. Valencia Road. Terry Dahlstrom and Kevin Volk of Volk Co. represented the landlord, Dahlstrom Valencia Mercado LLC and Southside Plaza LLC.
  • Francisco and Sonia Fierro, dba Soccer Planet LLC, leased 1,177 square feet at 2227 E. Broadway, from the city of Tucson. Kevin Volk, Dave Hammack and Rick Borane of Volk Co. represented the landlord.
