PHOENIX β More than 100 of the countryβs fastest-growing companies are located in Arizona.
The 2015 Inc. 5000 list contains 109 Arizona companies, nearly all of which are in metro Phoenix. The list, Inc. magazineβs 34th annual, was released Wednesday. Seven Tucson-based companies made the list.
Topping the Arizona list is Base Commerce, a financial services company in Tempe that ranked No. 60 nationwide with a three-year growth rate of 4,401 percent and $19.9 million in 2014 revenue. It joined nine other Arizona companies posting more than a 1,000 percent rate of growth over the past three years.
Rounding out the Arizona top 10, in order of growth, were Scottsdale health company Plexus Worldwide; Tempe food and beverage company LifeTree Manufacturing; Scottsdale financial services company American Retirement Advisors; and Fraud Posse, a Tempe software company.
Also: My Home Group Real Estate, a Tempe real estate firm; Lumber One Services, a Scottsdale construction company; Print.Save.Repeat, a business products and services company in Chandler; Scottsdale IT services firm Trapp Technology; and Waddell construction company Encompass Inspections.
About half of the 109 Arizona businesses are engaged in consumer or business products and services, IT services or software, and advertising/marketing. Remaining companies are spread among categories that include financial services, human resources, construction, security and manufacturing.
