Sentinel Peak Brewing Company prepares for soft opening

Sentinel Peak Brewing Co., co-owner Taylor Carter assembles tap handles as he helps prepare to open for the day. In addition to light fare, Sentinel Peak offers six craft brews on tap.

Sentinel Peak Brewing Co., the Tucson microwbrewery owned by a trio of Golder Ranch firefighters, is hosting a fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 14, to benefit the family of a fellow firefighter.

Proceeds from beer and food sales will go into the memorial fund of the family of Wyatt Bell, a 4-year-old boy killed in February in an ATV rollover accident in Benson. Wyatt's uncle works with the Sentinnel Peak owners Matt Gordon, Taylor Carter and Jeremy Hilderbrand.

A Go Fund Me account also has been set up.

The North Tucson Firefighters Union is organizing the event.
