A Tucson-based commercial furnishings firm has opened a downtown showroom.

JKaiser Workspaces leased 3,000 square feet at 20 E. Congress St., in the Bourn Companies office building.

Founded by Jessica Kaiser, the company specializes in furniture specification and procurement, space planning and design, and ergonomic and acoustical evaluations.

The 8-year-old company has customers around the country.

Other recent commercial transactions include:

  • Mirabella Apartments, at 1345 S. Kolb Road, has been sold for $16.3 million by Salt Lake City-based Bridge Investment Group. The buyer was Avenue North of Mesa. Art Wadlund and Clint Wadlund of Berkadiaโ€™s Tucson office handled the sale.
  • Chernecki and Associates bought a 53,000-square-foot office complex at 7650 E. Broadway for $1.3 million. The seller, The Arizona State Retirement System, was represented by Dave Volk and Bruce Suppes, with CBRE. The buyer was represented by Rob Fischrup, with Vast Commercial Real Estate.
  • Copper Street Armor Factory LLC bought a 12,800-square-foot industrial building at 1830-1840 W. Copper St. from LLDK LLC for $702,000. Robert J. Nolan, of Oxford Realty Advisors, represented the buyer, and Rob Glaser, with Picor, represented the seller.
  • Aerovation Inc. leased 13,000 square feet at 7005 S. Plumer Ave. Tim Healy, Bob DeLaney and Ian Stuart, with CBRE, represented the landlord.
  • Nova Financial Investment Corp. leased 3,973 square feet of office space at Foothills Corporate Center, 3430 E. Sunrise Drive. Dave Volk, with CBRE, represented the landlord, United Insurance Co., and James Hardman, with Desco Southwest, represented the tenant.
  • Crusher and Process Solutions leased 3,912 square feet of warehouse space at 3500 S. Dodge Blvd. Tim Healy and Bob DeLaney, with CBRE, represented the landlord.
  • BE Aerospace leased 3,520 square feet of office space at 1010 E. Palmdale St. John Slattery, with CBRE, represented the tenant, and the landlord was represented by Gary Emerson, with GRE Partners Commercial Real Estate.
  • Allegro School of Music leased 1,750 square feet at 6979 E. Broadway from Maqsood & Sabina Enterprises LLC . Robert J. Nolan, of Oxford Realty Advisors, handled the transaction.
  • I-Hope Medical Transportation Group LLC leased 1,402 square feet of office space at 4400 E. Broadway from 4400 Broadway LLC. Michael Gross, of Tucson Realty & Trust Co., represented the landlord.
  • Marana Marketplace, on the southeast corner of Orange Grove and River roads, has two new tenants. Smoothie King leased 1,200 square feet and Sports Clip leased 1,100 square feet. Michael Laatsch, of CBRE, represented Smoothie King, and Ben Craney, of NAI Horizon, represented Sports Clip. Andy Seleznov and Melissa Lal represented the landlord, Larsen Baker, on both leases.
