Catch up with the Hills

On the road to the UA-Stanford football game, I was privileged to bump into Collier Hill, a former Tucson assistant police chief, and his son, also named Collier, a senior engineer at Raytheon Missile Systems. They were outfitted in UA football gear. They joined Mr. Hill’s youngest son, Corey Hill, in Palo Alto for the game. Corey Hill graduated from Stanford with a finance degree and was a starting cornerback for the Cardinal in the 1990s, earned a master’s at Arizona, and now lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He is an international marketing expert for Nike. Both of Collier’s sons played on Jeff Scurran’s powerhouse teams at Sabino.
