Cienega High gradΒ Brandon BurnettΒ was poised to become a junior-year starter at Indiana State this year, scoring a double-double in the club’s final preseason basketball scrimmage. But he was then seriously injured in an automobile accident on a freeway near Indianapolis. He required foot surgery and is out for the season. Burnett is expected to have two seasons of eligibility remaining for the Sycamores.
