Teaspoon is going into the Casas Adobes nook tucked away behind Wildflower.

The plaza that once held Bluefin Seafood Bistro and Frogs Organic Bakery looks more like a construction site these days. Two new restaurants, Bird Southern Table and Bar and now a brunch spot called Teaspoon, are coming into the nook at Casas Adobes Plaza at Oracle and Ina roads.

Teaspoon's Facebook page promises "bottomless mimosas" as well as "house-crafted baked goods, healthy frittatas, hash skillets, sweet & savory waffles/pancakes, burgers, healthy delicious salads, wraps and more!"

The spot at 7053 N. Oracle Road has been vacant for a year. Bluefin Seafood Bistro closed last March after owners Jeff Azersky and Jim Murphy announced they were not able to come to a deal on their lease renegotiation with the plaza's new owners Global Retail Investors of Bethesda, Maryland.

Pictures on Teaspoon's Facebook page show the crews removing the staircase that once led to Bluefin's second level. Check out Teaspoon's Facebook page for more updates.
