The 24th annual Tucson Winter Chamber Music Festival kicks off Sunday, March 12, with a little Mozart in the afternoon.
Mozart’s wonderful Quintet in E-flat Major for Piano and Winds opens the eight-day festival of chamber music that features the family affair of the Jupiter String Quartet — sisters violinist Meg and violist Liz Freivogel, violinist Nelson Lee and cellist Daniel McDonough, Meg’s husband — and a quintet of wind instrumentalists.
The festival, a cornerstone of the Arizona Friends of Chamber Music, runs through March 19. Concerts are at the Leo Rich Theatre, 260 S. Church Ave.
