Keitaro Harada is adding another associate conductor job to his growing resume.
Harada, a University of Arizona alum and popular Tucson Symphony Orchestra guest conductor, was named associate conductor at Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra beginning in September. In addition to working with the orchestra's conductors, Harada also will conduct Cincinnati's Young People's Concerts, the World Piano Competition and select pops concerts, according to an orchestra news release.
He also is associate conductor of the Richmond Symphony in Virginia and Arizona Opera, where he will be behind the podium this weekend to conduct Donizetti's "The Daughter of the Regiment."
