Country Thunder sent out an email blast to fans last week with some pretty tantalizing news: Eric Church, country music's perennial bad boy hitmaker, has signed on as a headliner of the 2016 festival in Florence.

Who else will join him? No one's saying yet, but Country Thunder will make its big reveal in a concert Nov. 14 at the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, the stadium complex on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. It's at the former site of the Indian Bend Country Club, 7555 N. Pima Road. Click here for details.

The lineup for the launch event includes Craig Morgan and Chris Janson. Tickets are $20 and it starts at 4 p.m.

The four-day country music festival April 7-10 will be at Country Thunder West, 20585 E. Price Station Road in Florence, Arizona Last year's festival set an attendance record with 93,668 people who caught headliners Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Big & Rich and Brett Eldredge.
