Sunday Evening Forum Tucson is hosting an armchair interview with Linda Ronstadt Oct. 5 at Fox Tucson Theatre as part of its recently resurrected series.

Tickets are free but you have to pick them up after 4:30 p.m. at the Fox, 17 W. Congress St., on the day of the event. The talk begins at 7 p.m. and no reservations will be accepted.

Limited tickets ($125) for a post-talk champagne and dessert reception are available through the forum. That ticket also includes a preferred seat for the talk.

Thirty years after the Sunday Evening Forum series ended, the forum reignited in March with former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.

Sunday Evening Forum has a rich Tucson history. It was started in a 1947 to introduce newsworthy and noteworthy guests to Tucsonans. Events were held in churches until eventually outgrowing them and moving to the University of Arizona where it continued until 1984.

Among the guests were John F. Kennedy, Jackie Robinson, Walter Cronkite, Eleanor Roosevelt, Margaret Sanger and Ronald Reagan.
