James Beard Award-winning chef Chris Bianco plans to open his pizzeria at 4 p.m. today. Don't be surprised if the lines start forming much earlier. This is not just pepperoni and mozzarella on a crispy crust. This is destination pizza that has earned rave reviews and high praise nationwide.
The opening comes nearly a year after Bianco initially expected to open at 272 E. Congress St.Β
Bianco, who has had the original Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix since 1994, has two other Phoenix restaurants and a pizzeria with Jamie Oliver in London.Β
