It's easy to see a celebrity slipping into a Phoenix area steakhouse on a slow weeknight this week when celebrities are flocking to the Valley for Sunday's Super Bowl.
But we have no idea why comedian/actor/director/screenwriter Adam Sandler stumbled into of all places The Silver Saddle Steakhouse on the south side's East Benson Highway Tuesday night.
But the restaurant, which is kind of tricky to find off Interstate 10 unless you know it's there — you see the sign after you've passed the South Sixth Avenue exit — has photographic proof of its celebrity encounter. They snapped a selfie of Sandler with a pair of employees.
According to the Facebook timeline, Sandler was in the restaurant around 7 p.m.
Earlier this month, Sandler won the People's Choice Award for favorite comedic actor. It was his ninth win.
