The competition between Feast and longtime Tucson institution Caruso’s was so tight that the romantic spots were tied after four days of voting in the Candlelight Madness bracket last week.

We took the vote to Facebook, where Caruso’s, the longest-running business on North Fourth Avenue, won the matchup by 135 “likes.”

The romantic spaghetti house will face another Tucson institution with a very different menu in the semifinal round — Café Poca Cosa, on East Pennington Street.

Poca Cosa beat Downtown Kitchen + Cocktails by 24 votes to advance to the semis.

On the right half of the bracket, Arizona Inn came out ahead of The Grill at Hacienda del Sol in the Foothills. Both locations are celebrating 80-plus years in Tucson this year.

Northwest date spot Harvest beat midtown’s Kingfisher by six votes to earn a spot in the top four.
