The Food Network's Alton Brown traveled the country earlier this year trying the restaurant recommendations fans sent in. One of the places he visited while in Tucson was the Tucson Tamale Company.
Turns out Brown loved the tamales so much he picked the restaurant as one of 10 perfect spots for a July Fourth holiday weekend trip in a USA TODAY article.
This is what Brown had to say about the tamales: "I stood 20 minutes in line to get two tamales and I would have spent 20 minutes to get another two."
