Frida in Pink & Green Blouse, 1938, by Nickolas Muray.

1. The Tucson Botanical Gardens has transformed into artist Frida Kahlo’s color-happy garden at the home she shared with Diego Rivera in Mexico City, Casa Azul. There is plenty to see, but the photos that accompany the exhibit should not be missed. Photographer Nickolas Muray spent time with and took some extraordinary photos of Khalo. They are on view at the TBG’s Porter Gallery, courtesy of Etherton Gallery. TBG is at 2150 N. Alvernon Way, 326-9686, tucsonbotanical.org. Admission is $13, with discounts available. The exhibit continues through May 31.

It runs through Dec. 9. Bernal Gallery is at 2202 W. Anklam Road, in PCC’s Center for the Arts. 206-6986.
