So just how sweet is it to sell gold β€” 500,000 copies β€” of your latest single?

How about selling out the arena sweet, or packing in the park sweet, or kicking it Cali. sweet.

All that plus some for award-winning country star Chris Young, who is bringing the fall leg of his "I'm Comin' Over" tour to the AVA at Casino del Sol in October. Tickets for the Oct. 9 show go on sale Saturday, Aug. 27. You can get them online or at the box office, 5655 W. Valencia Road.Β

Young last played Tucson in early 2014 on one of his first solo treks. He's been been flying solo pretty much since, riding on the success of a string of hits including his recent Gold-certified duet with Cassadee Pope "Think of You" Β off his fifth studio album, "I'm Comin' Over." The album has spun off several platinum (1 million-plus sales) singles in addition to the Gold-certified (500,000 copies) Pope duet.Β

Expect to hear the applause spill out into the parking lot when he sings those tunes, as well as his earlier hits: "The Man I Want To Be," "Gettin' You Home," "Voices," "Tomorrow" and "Aw Naw" among them.Β
