Tucson's own DJ Du โ Duhamel Cassell โ has inked a multipronged entertainment deal with TTA Music Nashville.
Cassell announced the deal on Facebook Friday morning:
"So happy to finally let my friends know I inked a major deal with TTA Music, Nashville. So excited to create and inspire folks around the world with some of the best peeps in the record label, management, branding and the radio business. By far my largest move of my career. More to come later...Time to get to work!!!"
Cassell said the deal will involve everything from recordings to live performances and radio shows.
Cassell, who was the house DJ at the Cactus Moon country night club from the late 1990s to 2010, broke out on the national scene in early 2014 as an opener on Jason Aldean's national stadium tour. He divides his time between Tucson and Nashville.ย
