Fox Tucson Theatre on Thursday announced via Facebook that it would refund ticketholders of Monday's abbreviated Morrissey concert.
Morrissey, the former frontman of the iconic Brit indie band The Smiths, left the stage six songs into his concert. A band member moments later informed the sold-out audience that the singer had lost his voice and could not continue.
Morrissey, meanwhile, pulled out of a concert Wednesday night in San Antonio, Texas. The venue announced the cancellation just hours before he was to go on stage at 8 p.m.
In its "Morrissey Update" posting, the Fox said ticketholders can get a refund at point of purchase, or trade their tickets for an upcoming Fox show with a 10 percent discount. You could also get a Fox gift certificate for a future show or donate the ticket price to the non-profit theater.
"Whichever option you choose, please know that we are truly sorry for the abrupt termination of this concert, and hope youβll come back to the Fox Tucson Theatre in the not-too-distant future," Fox posted on Facebook.
