Tucson’s Steff and the Articles will honor their 10th anniversary with a show at 191 Toole. The band mixes jazz, classical and folk into its pop-leaning sound.

Oh how time flies when you’re chasing a rock-and-roll dream.

Tucson’s Steff and the Articles β€” fronted by singer-songwriter Steff Koeppen β€” will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a show Saturday, Jan. 25, at 191 Toole.

In their first decade, the band, which incorporates jazz, classical and folk into its pop-leaning sound, has:

Released several albums, starting with their DIY eponymous album in 2010, followed by β€œStories You Can’t Tell” two years later. That album featured the single β€œTwo Cities,” which MTV picked up in 2013. The band also has a couple

  • EPs to its credit and its most recent album, 2017’s β€œTimekeeper.”
  • Opened for national acts including Great Big World, HOLYCHILD and Copeland. Koeppen also was featured on Copeland’s album β€œIxora.”
  • Toured the West Coast, throughout the Southwest and Mexico.

Saturday’s 21-and-older show at 191 Toole, 191 E. Toole Ave., begins at 8 p.m. Tucson band Dirt Friends and duo Night Weather open the show, which is presented by the Rialto Theatre.
