The return of Willie Nelson

He and his family band are heading to Desert Diamond Casino Jan. 3.

Willie Nelson's Desert Diamond Casino show on Friday, Feb. 10, is off due to illness.

It's one of four shows the country singer has cancelled in the last 24 hours due to an undisclosed illness. His publicist Elaine Schock would elaborate in an interview with The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Two weeks ago, the 83-year-old country legend called off five Las Vegas shows because of a bad cold, according to published reports.

Nelson is set to release his new album "God's Problem Child" on April 28, the day before he turns 84.

Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Desert Diamond Casino officials said they are working with Willie Nelson's people to reschedule the date.
