Tucson native Angélica Celaya made the national radio show rounds in the past two weeks, landing on two biggies.
Celaya, who stars in the Telemundo musical-biopic series “Jenni Rivera: Mariposa de Barrio,” which airs weeknights through early December, was interviewed in late June by nationally syndicated TV/radio personality Ryan Seacrest for “On the Air With Ryan Seacrest” show.
Last week, she was on the air with Mario Lopez for his nationally syndicated “On With Mario Lopez” show.
In that 11-minute interview, Lopez said that he knew Rivera and could see the late regional Mexican music superstar in the Tucson native. You can listen to that interview at bit.ly/2tbIdsr.
Celaya attended Pueblo High School and the University of Arizona.
