Willie Calhoun, who was an infielder at Arizona a year ago, has hit an NJCAA-leading 27 home runs, has 74 RBIs, and leads the ACCAC with a .462 batting average for Yavapai College. That’s an amazing turnaround. He’ll surely be the Player of the Year in the Arizona junior-college league. He has signed to play next year at Kansas State.
