Ex-Cat Evans returns to Tucson for football gameย
Arizonaโs 1986 Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year, linebackerย Byron Evans, was back on a football field in Tucson on Friday night. He is the head coach at ASU Prep Academy in Phoenix and his team is nicknamed Sun Devils. Pretty funny. Evans was 5-0 against ASU in his Arizona days. On Friday, the Sun Devils beat Tanque Verde High School 39-31. Evans, who played eight years for the Philadelphia Eagles, also works as a pastor in Phoenix.
