Ex-Cat standout Barrett out after surgery
2012 Olympic high jump silver medalist Brigetta Barrett will not compete in the U.S. national championships next month and the ensuing world championships. She has returned to Tucson and undergone hip flexor surgery, and is expected to begin training again in September under UA coach Sheldon Blockburger.
