A.J. Alexander, who was a key Salpointe Catholic pitcher in 2011, took a 6-1 record and a 3.20 ERA into Senior Day Saturday at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. Alexanderโs team is bidding to get to the NAIA World Series. His father,ย Darrell Alexanderย of Tucson, helped Emporia State (Kan.) win the 1978 NAIA World Series.ย
