Ex-UA assistant Ray won't make appearance at Hillenbrand
Southern Utah will also play in the Hillenbrand Invitational, but one-time Thunderbirds assistant coach Larry Ray is no longer part of the Southern Utah coaching staff. Ray, a long-time UA assistant — and the Wildcats’ interim head coach during the 2004 and 2008 Olympics — recently left Southern Utah for a similar position at Division III Emory University in Atlanta.
