Football foundation chapter to honor Tevis again

For the first time in its 18 years, the College Football Hall of Fame and National Football Foundation’s Southern Arizona Chapter will honor a young man for a second time. Jared Tevis is among the 11 scholar-athletes to be honored April 26 at the DoubleTree Hotel. Tevis, a starting safety at Arizona from 2012-14, was also honored in 2010 after his senior season at Canyon del Oro High School. The Hall of Fame chapter, which is responsible for getting ex-Wildcats Ricky HunleyChuck CecilRob Waldrop and Tedy Bruschi elected to the national Hall of Fame, has arranged for a dynamic speaker: Arizona’s 2007 All-Pac-10 linebacker Spencer Larsen, a former Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay Buccaneers fullback/linebacker.
