Former Tucson High, Pima standouts to battle in Goldenย
Former All-ACCAC Pima College basketball playersย Shakir Smithย andย Murphy Gershmanย will play against one another in the RMAC playoffs Tuesday in Golden, Colorado. Smith is averaging 20.6 points per game for Adams State. Gershman, who averages just 10 minutes per game for the Colorado School of Mines, has not started a game in this, his junior year. Both are Tucson High grads.
