Former Wildcat Mejia in minor-league limbo 

Arizona’s 2012 College World Series-winning shortstop Alex Mejia was promoted to Triple-A Memphis last week by the St. Louis Cardinals. He went 2 for 4 in his first start Friday, but was sent down Saturday. Replacing him? Former college teammate Kurt Heyer, a right-handed pitcher.
