'GameDay' lacks excitement at McKale
Has there been a sports event that didn’t match the hype more than Saturday’s ESPN “College GameDay” program at McKale Center? There were no UA players or coaches on the live set. It was like a “Seinfeld” episode: a show about nothing. The only thing that worked was the Zona Zoo energy. ESPN’s basketball team doesn’t have a Lee Corso-type character to make the show work.
