Gymnast Williams Lam to be honored by Sabino
Among those to be honored Friday night at the Sabino High School Sports Hall of Fame ceremony will beย Jamie Williams Lam, one of the elite athletes in Tucson history. She was a four-time state champion gymnast for the Sabercats, emerging from the Tumbleweeds gymnastics program underย Regina Mueller-Martin. Williams then was a regular on three UCLA national championship teams (2001, 2003 and 2004). At Sabino, Lam was a 4.0 student and the class valedictorian. She is now a physicianโs assistant, a wife and mother living in Denver. Well done.ย
