I-Ridge grad Landrith continuing family tradition

Former Ironwood Ridge softball standout Robin Landrith was the starting catcher for Baylor last week when the Bears routed Arizona 9-1. A senior, Landrith is continuing the strong catching tradition of her family. Her father, David Landrith was a UA starting catcher in the early 1980s, and her grandfather Hobie Landrith was a catcher for the Reds, Cubs, Cardinals, Giants, Mets, Orioles and Senators. Robin is hitting .310 in 14 starts this season.
